In the fall of 2020, in the midst of a global pandemic, writer/musician Jane and fine arts photographer Jones left their life in NY and moved to rural Galicia, in northern Spain.
It proved to be a beautiful, exhausting opportunity for growth and adventure.
For a million reasons, Galicia is a place like no other. Discover it with us!

...was an incredibly rich, deep and powerful culture that is struggling to keep its rituals and traditions alive in the face of a changing world. Discovering Galicia has been the greatest learning opportunity of our lives, helping us not only to understand the ways and motivations of the Galician people, but also to help us see our own culture from a vastly different perspective.

What we're doing
We are reforming this traditional Galician stone house and filling it with creative explorers! We'll be sharing our adventures through social media, as we bring photographers, musicians, and writers here to experience the inspirational magic of Galicia and collaborate with Galician artists.

Jane
SARAH LONG HENDERSHOT is a lifelong musician who has appeared with artists such as Randy Travis, Bill Monroe, Trisha Yearwood, George Jones and others. She has made appearances on The Nashville Network, Good Morning America, and Galician National TV. She is also a writer and a storyteller on the RISK! podcast, where her true stories have had millions of listens. She is “Jane” of the Jane in Spain YouTube channel.
Jones
JONES HENDERSHOT is an internationally known fine arts photographer who has been featured in myriad books and fine art photography journals. When he's not pointing a camera, he's behind a sound board, recording or mixing sound, live or in the studio. Jones is the other half of the Jane in Spain YouTube channel.
